I think academically, you are really strong since you have a great gpa, class rigor, school rank, and many academic awards. This will definitely be appreciated by top schools. Though your testing is a bit under average for schools like Duke, the grades do make up for that.

I would say your extra curriculars are looking quite strong, since they emphasize what you like, rather than just ‘what colleges want to see’. (Im guessing ur into math and soccer

I think you have a really strong shot to all these schools. Good luck!

Nobody on here can accurately chance you. You may as well apply but remember to apply to safety and match schools at which you would be genuinely happy and certain you can afford.

I don’t think your academics are super competitive. You seem to have a lot of volunteering and clubs, which is good, and extensive travel experience, which is great, and lots of musical talent, which is awesome! Plus you’re fluent in an unusual language and the child of immigrants. AND you already have lots of experience with your own personal business. I think you’re very unique and overall a very strong candidate.
My predictions:
Michigan - accepted
UVA - accepted
UNC - 50/50
Duke - …? I never know what to expect with them
Indiana - honestly couldn’t tell you, I’ve never looked into them

Good luck!

adding in ohio state ( i applied EA here) and NYU. what are my chances here?

great responses so far

I had higher stats than you last year and got waitlisted by UVA and UMich (3.93/33/~6%). I was eventually accepted into both, though… they’re gonna be tossups at best.

From what I have seen about previous students with similar stats and profiles:
Michigan- 85%
UVA- 85%
UNC- 55%
Indiana- 95%
Ohio State- 90%
Duke- 35% (this is a tough one so I would say anywhere from 20%-50%)

Basically, your academic stats are very good and will get you into most schools around the country, but those alone are not quite good enough for a school like Duke. BUT, your extracurriculars are outstanding and you will stand out so I think that added with your academics will give you about as good of a chance as anyone at Duke.

pretty solid for every school but duke.

one last bump, any more opinions? all are appreciated
