<p>Hey everyone, so I just applied ED to NYU, College of Arts and Sciences.</p>

<p>Stats:
Senior
93.3 GPA, weighted (3 ap's, honors)
2000 SAT I's(580 Critial Reading, 680 Math, 740 writing)
30 Composite ACT
No SAT II's, I just submitted my SAT and ACT since they allow that.</p>

<p>EC:
Varsity Lacrosse/ JV Football (only up to junior year, couldn't play due to injuries)
Academic Team Captain
NJ Gov School Finalist
Part time job: Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins (over a year now)
Meaningful volunteer hours (Mosque, summer camp)
Pretty good recommendations</p>

<p>Your SAT scores are on the low side for NYU. Your GPA is probably average, although NYU only looks at your unweighted GPA (admissions counselor told me this). Your EC’s are solid. Your essay may really influence their decision. Based on this though, I’d say you’re a high match/low reach.</p>

<p>you’re GPA is above average for CAS, I think you’ll get in, but I’d plan on doing other applications in the meantime, but it’s not a pipedream by any means - you’re a decent applicant</p>
