*** Legacy at the University of Pennsylvania

I’m also applying to Case Western’s PPSP program, University of Michigan, Emory, and Washington University in St. Louis. Thank you so much !

3s on two science subject tests…going to be hard even with legacy

@TennisBaller23 I think you only have a small chance if you apply ED. if you do RD it will be extremely hard. Are you being recruited for tennis? If so that might also help.

@Penn95 @len_bias7 Thank you so much for your response. Why do you say I only have a small chance if I apply ED? Is it because of my 3’s on both Chem and Bio, or is there something else my application is lacking?

@TennisBaller23 Maybe I maybe should have said decent instead of small, but your GPA is a bit average for Penn. 90% of the incoming class at Penn have a 3.75 or better GPA and the average is over 3.9. Also 95% were in the top 10% of their HS class. Also yes your AP scores kind of stand out especially because they are related to your intended major. You ECs and awards could make up for it a bit, but you have nothing super extraordinary that could completely offset the low-ish scores and grades.

So I would say your only chance would be if you did ED. It is not a great chance but it is not minimal either. if you do RD it will be minimal.

No subject tests?
