Chance me please? (ED 2 or RD)

What are my chances of getting accepted into the University of Richmond? I haven’t decided between RD and ED 2 but please let me know which would give me a better chance. I would really appreciate any feedback provided.

I am US citizen and a female Asian.

I am interested in biochemistry as a major and probably a math related minor.
I hope to do DNA replication and repair research as well chemical research on catalysts.

Thank you!

It’s going to be a reach. You’re scores are a little low but I think that there is no reason not to try because you just never know.

I disagree with it being a reach. Yes, your SAT is on the lower side for UR, but your GPA, course rigor, and awards/ECs are all in range for Richmond, and admissions at UR are not completely stats driven.

Nominated to United States Naval Academy by my district’s house of reps member. (Notified admission counselor about receiving it and had it added to application).

Honest answers greatly appreciated, rather have a realistic idea than be overconfident from kind but not true responses.

Any input would be tremendous

Thank you
