Chance me, please? ED for Steinhardt

I'll try to keep this short.

Steinhardt ED for Music Education
Competitive public school in Long Island
SAT: 1830/2400
GPA: 3.8 UW/4.0+ W

Course load this year:

AP Literature
AP Art
Honors Choir
SUPA (college credit class) Government
Economics
Pre-Calc
Psychology

EC:
NHS (11-12)
Tri-M Music Honor Society Exec Board (10-12)
Art Honor Society (10-12)
A Capella Group (12)
Newspaper (9)

I also have another part in my resume for my music ECs, which include NYSSMA, All-County, yearly performances, awards, etc.

I work a part-time job in retail for about 14 hours a week. As for community service, I tutor a student once a week and I've been singing at a children's hospital for the terminally ill a few times a year since 10th grade. I've also volunteered at the public library.

My ECs aren't particularly fantastic, but I've been told my essay is. The teacher who runs NHS in my school actually used my essay as an example of what a college essay should be like, so that makes me feel fairly confident in it as well. :]

I think my audition went pretty well. I didn't get a ton of feedback, but what I did get back was very positive. I'm hoping that'll take the focus off of my ECs and SATs.

Thank you!

i'd say u hv a pretty good shot...even tho ur GPA and SAT and slightly on the low scale (this is just my opinion)...auditioning and essay prolly plays a much larger role in ur admission's process. just my two cents!

Thank you so much! Does anyone else have any other feedback? :]

You have good stats, based on those alone you have a good shot. Just worry about your auditioning!

Thank you very much!

Any other feedback? :]
