I'd appreciate any insightful, realistic advice; no rude comments please! I'm a fairly realistic applicant and I already have some idea of my chances to these schools. I'm just looking for some second opinions.

Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mention that I also volunteered at my local history museum and hospital! :)

Anyone? I’ll chance back!

You have a decent chance at all of them, although your ECs are a little lacking.

Emory- Low Reach
Duke- Reach
University of Texas - Austin (UTA)- High match
University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)- High match
Cornell (applying for the heck of it, honestly)- Reach

Those are the only ones I know.

@Woandering‌ Thanks! Yeah, I didn’t include many ECs in my original post, and I can’t edit it now. Other than the museum and hospital I mentioned before, I’m on the student government board for seniors (secretary) and in various other subject related clubs (like Spanish club, book club, Principal Advisory Committee) and that’s about it. T-T Thanks again for taking the time to chance me though, I chanced you as well. :)

Haha, anyone else?

I’d say you’ve got an above average chance at the vast majority of those colleges— Emory and UCLA are decent reaches, and Duke and Cornell are higher reaches for people of nearly all stats including yourself. I think it’s gonna come down to good recommendations and strong essays to give you the edge at those ones. If you bump up the SAT to around 1450 that would put you at an even better position. Overall I’d be optimistic about your chances though!

@FriendlyNerd888‌ Thanks so much! Hopefully I can improve my score by at least a 100 points; I spent all summer practicing and taking tests, haha.
