<p>Chance me please for all IVIES/stanford/duke/uchicago? I'll appreciate it forever and more. I'm a class of 2014 senior. </p>

<p>I'm thinking of applying Single Choice Early App to Yale... should I? What are my chances? Any advice is helpful. </p>

Freshman year: volunteer at YMCA, hospital
Sophomore Year: volunteer at YMCA, hospital, Yale Ivy Scholar Global Leadership Program
Junior Year: Student Research Intern in Radiology at #1 Hospital In the US. I'm publishing two papers in medicine based on my research in England and US, one on glaucoma and one on CTs, probably in medical journals and medical conferences</p>

<p>Around 400/500 Volunteer Hours</p>

<p>Hook? : Dad was a clinical fellow at Yale 10 years ago</p>

<p>Also, I am getting an additional rec from a top radiologist who is a Assistant Professor at Harvard Med School at this prestigious hospital (only yale doesn't allow additional rec :( ) </p>

<p>You seem to be very well qualified. I’d say you have a good chance to get in to a lot of those schools, especially Yale with your background there, but I guess you never know with the ivies/Stanford and such. Good Luck!</p>

<p>The research experience makes up for your otherwise bland EC’s (most are academic), and your grades, scores, and schedule is outstanding. As a valedictorian with 2280 SAT, you should be in a great place for college admissions. Ivies are reaches for everyone though, but don’t let that discourage you from applying!</p>

<p>The research will help you, especially since you will be published in high school. You have great stats as well! I think you have a solid shot at all of these schools!</p>
