I really want to apply for the 8 year program guaranteed medical program (known as BA/MD) in: Boston University, UC Riverside, George Washington, Brown Univ., Union College, Rice University, and USC in my senior year.

I want to also apply regular admission to Harvard, Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Cornell, Northwestern, Wellesley, and UPenn.

What are my chances? What are my strengths and weaknesses? What do I need to improve more on? What should I focus more on?

You must have a crazy school if you have a 3.65 UW and are ranked 2/800. I was going to say the GPA was on the low side for BS/MD until I saw the ranking.

All the schools and programs you plan on applying to are very competitive, and most applicants will have similar stats. Add a safety or two. Also, UCR’s program isn’t really a BS/MD program.

Northwestern also has a BA/MD program - called HPME.

You pretty much have to walk on water to get into NU’s HPME program. We send 5-10 kids to NU every year from our HS. I can only think of 1 in the last 6 years who got into HPME. Not only did he have great test scores and grades, he spoke 3 or 4 languages, and had spent time in a concentration camp as a child. Truly an outstanding kid, he was heads above all the others.
OP, I’m not telling this story to discourage you, but to help you understand the competition, and form a plan that may go beyond the BA/MD programs. Good luck!
