8.COLORADO COLLEGE-in

You have the academic stats to go basically to any college! The essay/photo contest looks impressive to me! Some ECs are scattershot, but you are in the running if your essays and recs are great. Good luck :)

Depending on the school your communications major could be competetive or not. Tufts is known for its medicine and reasearch. If you are aple to show that you are extremely creative and its your passion in arts/communications, then you have a pretty good chance. The top major at Northwestern is Communications, so that be a reach unless you set yourself apart in your essays and perhaps an interview, if possible.

1.POMONA- low reach
2.BROWN- mid reach
3.NORTHWESTERN- high match
4.PENN- mid reach
5.PITZER- in
6.GEORGETOWN- high match
7.TUFTS- low match/in
8.COLORADO COLLEGE- in

my old thread
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1023030-chance-me-everywhere-ill-chance-you-back.html

Pitzer and Colorado are in. Tufts is in/low match. G’Town is a match. For the rest, your essays are what will determine in or out. Get your essays really good and I’d say you’re high match/low reach because your ECs are a bit scattered and there isn’t a lot of leadership, but on paper you can get in. Once again, it’s all about the essays.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1032359-chance-me-some-ivys-some-near-ivys-ill-chance-you-back.html

I’d say Brown, Penn, Georgetown are your three most difficult applications but you’re in a good position right now. If you can try to make ONE thing stand out on your application more than anything else, then you’re good.

pomona - low reach
brown - reach
northwestern - low reach
penn - reach
georgetown - low reach

dont know much about the others…
me:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1031697-chance-me-please-seriously-do-ill-chance-back.html

I would say you’re a match for northwestern, georgetown and tufts. I think you’re qualified for Brown & Penn but Ivies are always finicky with their acceptances so its really hard to say who will get in and who won’t. I’d just try and make yourself stand out as much as possible. And I’m not familiar with the other schools you listed, but you’re probably a match.

the problem with the ivies is they are reaches for everybody cc seems reasonable I would just make sure you have a safety school. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1033113-chance-me-ill-chance-you-back.html
