CHANCE ME PLEASE for my dream school (USC!), Ill chance back.

<p>Hello, Im a junior and the senior courses are the one I plan to take so heres my transcript, thus far:</p>

<p>SAT: 2010 (low I know, I plan to take it again)

writing: 540, this is what killed me
ACT: havn't taken it yet</p>

<p>Volunteering:
200+ hours voluteering at Lighthouse for the blind, an association that helps visually impaired people.
50+ hours at a clinic, its a free clinic where doctors along with volunteers treat patients who cant afford to go a normal clinic, for free. IMO, look better than the standard, volunteerng at normal hospital, feel free to state your opinion</p>

<p>*Its a class that you have to interview for only 50 out of 200-ish kids made it, basically you get to go to different hospitals etc. and assist with some procedures as well as watch major neuro/cardiac surgeries. oh and you can take the state exam and become a certified nursing assistant</p>

<p>From your extremely detailed post, I’d say that you are extremely well-qualified, academically, at least.
You didn’t mention you GPA, but I’m assuming it’s pretty high. The only two things I would reccommend to you would be to certainly join lacrosse, but also to perhaps write a more original essay, perhaps something that makes you unique, or something unusual/cool (perhaps your medical experience?) that the admissions director won’t already know about you, instead of emphasizing your obvious dedication to hard work.
I think that your extensive community service and your unique extracurriculars and academic programs put you in a very good position. However, if you are an out of state applicant, I would also reccomend raising your SAT scores to increase your chances of admittance.
I would state that USC would be a match for you. </p>
