<p>ACT composite score: 24 ( I realize this is low but this was my first attempt and I'm planning on taking it again in September. Expecting a 27+) </p>

<p>Academics
UW GPA: 3.56 will go up this year
W GPA: 4.43 ^ditto
Rank: 62/532 (11.5% arghhhh!!!) btw will I be dinged because I am just ousted of the top ten percent? </p>

<p>I think as long, as you can get your GPA and ACT up, you will be an excellent canidate!</p>

<p>Even with your hook a 24 ACT is pushing it for some on the list. There are plenty of URMs who have better stats than you. </p>

<p>However you will definately get into most of them. Good luck on your reaches.</p>

<p>Try looking at safeties since JHU, UVA, W&M and Cornell are reachy. If you boost your scores you can probably get into the rest of them.</p>

<p>I think your expectations are exactly right, but elon is a deff match not a high match.</p>

<p>Yeah I’m expecting about a 28 on the act Saturday and I’ve started out the year really well and I’m prob gonna have 4 As and 4 Bs which is like a 5.5 gpa so that will help get a higher class rank.</p>

<p>I think you’ve got a pretty good shot at most of them- UVA might be more of a mid reach though.</p>

<p>Just curious, for everyone else: what would it be if he wasnt URM? I’m asking this cuz I have similar stats, except 32 act</p>
