<p>Hi. i applied EA to northeastern for finance.
I go to a public high school in NJ
Ethnicity: well im a Sikh, so i guess Asian
Act: 30 (31 E, 32 M, 27 R, 30 S) 10 writing
GPA: 4.05 weighted, so about 3.7 unweighted
Courses: pretty much all honors classes or AP. including this year, i will have 8 classes. all A's and B's (with 1 C+ in honors english junior year ), APs: AP Calc AB, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Chemistry, AP Euro History, AP Bio, AP US History, AP Stat
EC's:
-German Club (president 2 years)
-Marching Band (4 years, section leader 2 years)
-Volleyball (1 year)
-Asian American Club (2 years, mc for show)
-Model UN (2 years, on executive board)
-Peer tutoring program Homework Helper (self-made program that i started in freshman year in my public library to help struggling students in various subjects, president, many community service hours)
-Senior Center Volunteer (community service)
-Heritage Day (community service)
-Business internship at 22nd Century Technologies and Outline Systems (paid business internship at a growing insurance company over the summer)
-Religious organization at temple (active donator, Sikh games)
-Garbage pick-up at Ferrington Lake (community service)</p>
<p>A 4.05 weighted is about a 3.5 uw. If you got a mixture of as and bs with a c mixed in a 3.7 isn’t likely. A 3.7 is one or two b’s max per year, with no Cs. </p>
<p>But I think you have a good chance. Anything from a 3.4 - 3.7, in addition to a solid act score likes yours and your great ECs should result in an acceptance.</p>
