Pitt: Likely
W and M: If you're OOS, definite reach

bump.... maybe other suggestions...

Not a chance, you will fail in life and end up married to a one-eyed camel driver from Schenectady.

please people, more help than insults....

though, i must say piegon, you're quite creative

It's hard to tell from your list what your interests and preferences are since you have such a mix of rural/urban, large/small, LAC/research univerity, artsy/preppie, north/south. Have you thought about what majors interest you; the type of environment you'd like to be in; and what sort of offerings are important to you? Are you to the stage yet where you've visited most of these campuses?

yes, and i realize that they're a pretty diverse bunch. i'm definitely looking for something with a little looseness (or a lot) to the core and a solid linguistics and/or languages program. i chose the schools based on that and other factors, like their surrounding area, student body, academic reputation, etc...just generally whether the students seem happy.

size and urba/rural doesn't really matter to me much.

bumpingggg

brown: reach
middlebury: slight reach
cornell: slight reach
tufts: slight reach
rochester: match
pitt: safety
william and mary: slight reach
