I'm a junior with an SAT score of 1990 (Math 640, Reading 650, Writing 700). I'm taking the test again so will hopefully improve my scores. I haven't taken any SAT 2s yet but will this spring. I'm also taking the AP exams for Bio, US History and English this spring. My weighted GPA is 4.7; my unweighted GPA is 3.9. I am a three year varsity fencer and was captain this year as a junior. I am a member of our school's Science Olympiad Team (2 years), Key Club (3 years) and Art Club (2 years). I tutor inner city kids for the SCEEP program (2 years) and volunteer regularly for a local charitable organization that raises money for people suffering from debilitating illnesses (5 years). I plan to continue all of these activities next year. Finally, I work at a vet's office on the weekends (1 year). What are my chances for Lehigh University (aunt went there), Lafayette College, and Bucknell? Should I just abandon any the pursuit of an Ivy school as I know my SAT score is way too low?
