<p>I live in california, and go to a great, new school which has the highest API in our district. The school has a traditional school year, with 2 semesters a year and 6 year-long classes.
Cumulative Weighted GPA: 4.21
SAT Reasoning: 1880
SAT Subjects: Math II 690; Chemistry 690
ACT: 30 composite; 33 math, 30 reading, 30 writing, 26 science...
Including senior year, the classes i have taken include:</p>

<p>AP Chemistry in 10th, AP World history in 10th, Honors Precalc in 10th, honors english 10, AP US history in 11th, AP Physics in 11th, AP Calc AB in 11th, AP English 11, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus BC, AP Biology and a couple other honors classes in 9th. </p>

<p>Extracurricular activities/awards</p>

<p>Robotics 3 years, Science Olympiad 3 years, Varsity tennis 4 years, Key club 4 years, Interact club 1 year, have an outside job (6 hours a week), District Athlete of the week; AP Scholar, bunch of awards for tennis</p>

<p>I'm an immigrant who came here 6 years ago, and English is my second language; I'm Indian
My major: Mechanical Engineering</p>

<p>What is my chance at getting into these schools? I took the ACT yesterday I was devasted by the result, I got a 28. I’m a senior and cannot retake the test again.

<p>Match for all of them except UCB and UCLA. Those schools are crap shoots for everyone. Our S applied to UCB only with a 4.66 UC weighted GPA and 33 ACT. His school won Berkeley Pioneers in Engineering Robotics competition. I would still say its a reach for him because he’s applying under engineering. Engineering at UCB UCLA is just crazy.</p>
