<p>Overall CMU acceptance rate for transfer was just 13% last year. It is my understanding the transfer rate for computer science is zero. They only take internal (from within CMU's other schools) transfers, and even there, very few. So if you are told "in" for CMU chances, that is wrong (don't want you to be mislead and overconfident). You may have a chance for ECE (also very popular at CMU) but it's far from a sure thing and I'd consider it a reach.</p>
