<p>Chances for Emory?</p>
<p>I applied to Emory ED2. I am already in at my "back up school".</p>
<p>GPA: 3.92- has been pretty constant through high school</p>
<p>School: Fairly Competitive, sends a few kids to schools like UPenn, Dartmouth, Columbia, but never HYP</p>
<p>Rank: 60/622</p>
<p>ACT: 30 </p>
<p>Hook: If any, I'm from MN and that is not popular for Emory. </p>
<p>Schedule: Most demanding at my school. Very Science based</p>
<p>Interested: Pre-med, with International Relations as a possible major (still very unsure about major, just know I want to go into medicine)</p>
<p>Essay: Fairly generic, but pretty well written</p>
<p>Recommendation: Counselor was fairly boring, she was a long term sub, and I have never even met her. Counselors at my school are very obscure and if you don't have issues you don't see them. </p>
<p>Teacher Rec was great, very qualified teacher, and awesome recommendation.</p>
<p>Extra-Curriculars:</p>
<p>NHS: VP senior year, 300+ volunteer hours
Speech: made state soph and jr year, most likely will this year, captain senior year
Swimming: Varsity swimming since 9th grade
Swam club until 10th grade, had to quit due to injury
End Slavery Now: Founding Board, awareness group for human trafficking
Very involved in Youth group</p>
