<p>I just hope those of you that have clearly never experienced bullying, abuse, or discrimination get some insight into what it is really like. It is not usually like the TV or newspapers portray it. Of course they focus on the extreme cases, that is what makes for a sensational and compelling story. In most people’s reality, they cope as best they can but it isn’t like it has no effect at all. Your lack of sensitivity is stunning. You don’t think a person of Iranian heritage might go through some discrimination in certain situations? I hope college awakens you to the real world a bit more than it appears you currently are.</p>
