<p>Also I am the head of an Alzheimer’s fundraising team which has raised over $10,000 so far and do a lot with that and do a lot for GOP fundraising</p>

<p>With swimming, your chances are decent. Without it, there is nothing that stands out and your ECs are kinda weak. Are you good enough at swimming to get recruited?</p>

<p>Oh and my gpa is 3.8/4.1…may I ask how my ec’s are weak</p>

<p>I don’t think your ECs are week at all! In fact, I think they are stronger than most! Perhaps the person above was thinking that you didn’t have a broad enough range, since they are very focused. However, I have heard many adcoms saying that they are looking for passion in the ECs and not a breadth of random clubs. You seem to have two main passions, swimming and school service (student council, etc.). I think you are a very competitive applicant as long as you keep the grades up and write fantastic essays. Good work! </p>

<p>They aren’t unique at all. They are very standard, so it doesn’t help you stand out at all.</p>

<p>And as for GPA, that’s kinda weak too. It’s not impossible, but it’s going to be very difficult unless you can get recruited for swimming to get into the Ivys and other schools at that level.</p>
