THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO RESPONDS!!

you still have until senior year to bring up your gpa. that’ll really hurt you if you’re looking to get into college park, especially since they put a lot of weight on that. i think you have a good chance at salisbury and umbc though and idk enough about stony brook to say.

I think you have a decent chance. Your GPA is a worrying factor but I hope you do really well on the SAT. You might want to get that GPA up by just a little. Just make sure you have strong ECs, essay and recs. It could go either way. But I do hope they look past your GPA! Good luck!

I think that you will have a chance at College Park if you can bring your GPA up and score well on your SAT. Continue to pursue meaningful ECs. I think that your best chance right now is UMBC. I’m not too familiar with Salisbury or Stony Brook.

Your GPA could use a small boost, and the SAT could as well. Have you tried the ACT?

Overall, if you can pull a 1300+ SAT and increase your weighted GPA to 3.8ish, you should be good; even if not, you have a small chance still.
