<p>Hi I am currently a senior student and I want to know about my chance to few colleges.</p>

<p>Asian Male/In state</p>

<p>GPA - 95% and ranked 53 out of 730 Top 10%</p>

<p>AP classes -
junior year - US History, Physics B
senior year (now) - Government(First semester), Econ(Second semester, not taking yet), Computer science, Physics C, Calculus BC</p>

<p>22 on First ACT (I know it is really bad. I know I need to work on it. bad test taker)
Recently took second ACT - expecting better score than first one
Planning to take last ACT on December</p>

<p>EC-
National Honor Society
Bilingual Honor Society (speaking Korean)
Varsity tennis team - 2 years (10,11,12 - after admissions are done)
AFJROTC - 3 years (10,11,12) - appointed as an officer last year
Solar car team - 3 years (10,11,12)
Math club and team - 2 years (10,11)
Volunteer activities include all the ROTC volunteer activities, mission trip to Honduras at sophomore year from church.</p>

<p>More questions - if I was an officer in AFJROTC and demoted this year so Is it fine to say "appointed as an officer last year" on college app?</p>

<p>Yes it is fine to say that! Just word it properly but without it sounding as if you were demoted & I would improve your scores slightly</p>

<p>Well as long as u get a good ACT score when u take it in december (think higher than 28), I think u should be good on the testing front. Otherwise I would emphasize ur leadership roles in ur community.</p>
