Chance me please, I will reciprocate

I'm going into my senior year of high school, grades have improved through HS, ending on a high note right now-
-Go to the best (or one of the best) public schools in Pennsylvania
-3.8 Unweighted GPA
-4.2 WGPA (pretty tough schedule, 4 APs senior year, 1 Honors and the rest are regular only because they apply to my major and aren't offered as honors)
-30 on ACTs (plan on improving to a 31-MAYBE 32 if i get lucky)
-1270/1600, 2000/2400 on SATs will try to improve to a 2100)
-Senior Class Vice President(Class about 300 people)
-Selected to attend the PA Governor's School for Global Entrepreneurship (Highly selective state *about 15% acceptance rate-$5,000 sponsored scholarship to basically attend college for 5 weeks at Lehigh over the summer focusing on Intl. Business, I'm the Project Leader working to expand the viewership of a Spanish newscast)
-Secretary of National Honor Society
-President of CISV Pittsburgh (International Cultural Understanding Organization) Been involved since I was eleven, travelled to foreign countries to camps with other delegations from other nations most summers, was a Junior Leader (most likely an essay topic)-on the National Junior Board of Trustees
-I was invited to participate in the inception of a program at my high school called Athletes Taking Action. This program pairs older athletes with younger athletes to act as role models 2006-2007.
-Varsity in Track and Field 10, 11
-JV HS Soccer 9, 10
-Rec basketball, Travel Soccer Captain (stupid I know, but well-roundedness is a + I guess)
-President of World Affairs Club
-Member Law (10,11), Spanish (9,10,11), LINK(9,10,11)helping special-ed kids) Clubs
-Extensive Travel to CISV camps (see above) since I was 11 (looks pretty sicko on resumes/essays I think)
-Paul Harris Service Above Self Rotary Club Award (free watch!)
-$1,000 Scolarship to attend 3 week seminar at Washington and Lee (had to turn it down for Governor's School)
-Invited to attend the Junior Statesmen Summer School program 2007
-I received a scholarship from the Upper St. Clair-Bethel Park Rotary Club to attend the 36th World Affairs Institute for Student Leaders: India at Center Stage.
-I successfully campaigned for the re-election of Congressman Tim Murphy during his 2006 campaign.
-I currently tutor at the junior high school level in my school district. (50 hrs)Some other volunteering and resume filler BS...
-I would have good-very good interviews and good essays

Right now my list goes something like this:
1. UVa (have legacy so I'm considered as in-state-and yes I am completely sure of this)
2. Georgetown
3. U Mich
4. Wake Forest
5. UNC
6. U of Maryland
7. U of Florida
8. Cornell

That's quite a list of ECs, but I dont think you should include summer programs that you were invited to but did not attend.

UVa - Match
Georgetown - Low Reach
Mich - High Match
Wake Forest - Match
UNC - Low Match
U Maryland - Not sure
U Florida - Match
Cornell - Reach

No Penn State Schreyer's Honors? You'd probably get quite the aid. Why bother with UMaryland with PSU 3 hours away.

UVa - Match
Georgetown - Low Reach
Mich - Match
Wake Forest - Match
UNC - Low Match
U Maryland - Match
U Florida - Match
Cornell - Reach

thanks for the advice, PSU doesn't have my major (intl. business) on main... and I'm not sure if I have the SATs for schreyers anyway, plus U Maryland has a great location and similar price (PSU is still crazy in-state)

I think Georgetown's a match; you have a shot at Cornell. The rest are matches - safe matches.

UVa - Slight Reach since you're out of state?
Georgetown - Slight Reach
U Mich - Slight Reach
Wake Forest - Match
UNC - Match
U Maryland - Match (I know people with same stats from NJ who got in.)
U Florida - Match
Cornell - Reach

Too many ECs. Pick a few to put down. Thanks chance me back.

wow you guys are being really nice today... you don't think i'm weak in any area?

The ECs are a bit overwhelming but you have plenty of strengths there to focus on. If you bring up the ACT to 32 or 33 you have a good shot at all of those schools.

well my number 1 is UVa so I'd be very happy with that, the others are just for fun, Cornell b/c i wanted an Ivy, U Mich b/c it is good business and similar school.... Gtown becuase i liked the campus..... haha are all the ECs a bad thing? i do commit a decent amount of time to most of those so I don't feel like they are just fillers, i only have 2-3 completely stupid things on there

thanks a lot

UVa - Match
Georgetown - Low Reach/High Match- If you improve on the SATs
U Mich - Low Match
Wake Forest - Match
UNC - Match
U Maryland - Low Match
U Florida - Low Match
Cornell - Reach/High Match-Depending on whether you increase your test scores and keep your GPA

Please reciprocate!!

ok i did so far for every1

thanks a lot!
