<p>Wow! Very good ecs/standardized test scores/GPA! I would say HYP are reaches… but it is for most all… but you still have a chance, no doubt! Columbia and Brown would be low reaches/high match and Duke and Cornell would be matches! I’m so impressed… makes mine look like nothing… haha! Just have good teacher recs as well! <p>good shot. you’ll likely get into 2-3 of columbia/brown/cornell/duke
hyp are unpredictable.
i recommend you apply to safeties because last year we had this guy with the following stats:
2380 SAT,
5.8/5 GPA at a very competitive school (highest gpa in history)(nearly straight A+s)
top 10 debater in USA- numerous awards
Siemens finalist
national violin awards</p>

<p>got rejected from hysm, brown/dartmouth, got waitlisted at princeton and got off of the waitlist as like the last person
its a lot of luck involved and the student ended up at a solid school but you definitely need safeties</p>

<p>you have great stats (i wouldn’t worry too much about freshman year- since you’ve done so much better since then i doubt they’ll count it against you), so i’d say you’re a match for these schools, but since they’re all very competitive and not really predictable, i wouldn’t say you’re chances are great at any of them because really, no one’s are. i think you’d definitely get into a few of them, though. good luck! :)</p>

<p>Cornell would definately, probably, take you. And Duke. But you have as much a shot as anyone at the other schools, even if some of them <em>cough, Harvard</em> are crapshoots for, like, everyone.</p>

<p>I see you having no problem getting into at least one of these schools, although I think you’ll get into about 2-3. Duke and Cornell are ost likely to take you, I think. Also, I agree with the comment about safeties. I dunno if you just didn’t include them in this post, but definitely apply to some. There are also some rather good schools that you’re a solid match for, so I wouldn’t limit myself just to Ivies + Duke. Good luck!</p>

<p>Excellent SAT’s, relatively weak SAT II, good EC’s and leadership.</p>

<p>However, those colleges you’re applying to are known for how unpredictable the admissions are, so I’d recommend applying to a few safeties, like the person above me recommended.</p>
