Schools:
Notre Dame
University of Chicago
Northwestern
University of Michigan
Brown
Carnegie Mellon
Wash U in St. Louis

I would say close match/ in at all

anyone else? Buuuuuuuuump

Just saying, Brown University sounds like a great fit for you. Haha okay, chances:

Your ACT/SAT is acceptable for all schools listed, so is your GPA. Your EC’s are good (by CC standards, most others would consider them great). You’re a solid candidate for all colleges on your list. Here are my predictions:

Safety: None (find at least one good safety!)
Good Match: Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan
Low Reach: Northwestern, WashU, Notre Dame
Low-to-mid Reach: Brown
Low-to-high reach: University of Chicago (UChicago is unpredictable with admissions: its very hard to guess).

If you can write great essays and get great teacher recommendations, you’re likely to be accepted to the majority of these schools, perhaps even all of them (although this is unlikely). But you’re definitely in at UMichigan and Carnegie Melon, and probably in at Northwestern, WashU, and Notre Dame. For Brown and UChicago, it’ll probably come down to essays, recs, EC’s, and what not.

Best of luck! :)

Seems like a very strong list of colleges considering your stats, but I would definitely add a safety or two (both for financial, if necessary, and admission reasons). Your SAT score leans toward the lower end of the median scores for many of these schools, but your ACT score is very strong, as too is your GPA and list of extracurriculars.

Michigan and WashU seem to be your best matches, with Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Brown being slight reaches. U of Chicago is almost impossible to predict, but assuming you write excellent essays and receive great recs, all of them are certainly in reach. Again, just be sure to provide yourself with a safety or two. Good luck!

Opps I forgot my safeties. Would Butler and Indiana University make solid safeties for me?

Decent ECs, good ACT, good GPA.

Notre Dame- Match
University of Chicago- Chicago is weird, write good essays
Northwestern- Low Reach
University of Michigan- Match
Brown- Reach, but you’ve got as a good shot as anyone else
Carnegie Mellon- High Match
Wash U in St. Louis- High Match

Good Luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/949308-chances-anything-improve.html</a></p>

I don’t know most of those schools, so don’t trust everything I say. But, considering your app, you have a good chance of getting into even the most selective schools like Brown. Also, don’t bother retaking the SAT, as a 34 on the ACT will get you into most colleges. Also, you MUST take sat2s!

You should be in at notre dame, wash u, carnegie, etc. the only reaches would be brown, uchic, and northewestern. otherwise, you have good scores (i would send that act, not sat, and subject tests) and ec’s. lookin’ good!

wow. this is a great resume. since you answered mine ill help you out
ive been researching colleges and ive come up with a list very similar to yours (excluding brown and notre dame). i think you should also consider UVA. its a very prestegious school which i feel would go perfectly with you.
matches- Notre Dame, UMichigan and Carnegie Mellon
low reaches- brown and maybe WashU just because not as many people apply
difficult reaches- northwestern and UChicago

but even so, i think you could definately get into any of these schools if you have good essays and good recomendations.

just some advice, it seems that UChicago is looking for mainly different, wierd people. i would say explore what you want, find anything strange about it, and magnify that in your essay. otherwise, good luck. and if you could it would be helpful to see where you get in so i can compare. :D

May I ask why Princeton is not on your list considering you’re “princetongirl93”

You seem to have a very good resume, and by my guess, I think you’d be able to get into most of those schools. Make sure to highlight your leadership potential in your essays and in your recommendation letters so you can make your personal statement really shine.

Definitely seem like a good match at most, if not all of the schools. Much like CornelHopeful, I’m curious as to why Princeton is not on your list, considering your user name.

You have a good application. There is a lack of leadership though, and that will hurt your chances. Everything else is top tier material. Therefore:

Reach: UChicago,Brown,Northwestern
Match: UMichigan, WUSTL, Carnegie Mellon, Notre Dame

Chance Me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/953055-please-chance.html</a></p>

Notre Dame- Match
University of Chicago- Low Reach
Northwestern- Low Reach
University of Michigan- Match
Brown- Reach
Carnegie Mellon- High Match
Wash U in St. Louis- High Match

A lot of it is luck but you have a good shot at a lot of them, just get that SAT I score up :)

Notre Dame -match
University of Chicago -low reach
Northwestern -high match
University of Michigan -match
Brown -low reach
Carnegie Mellon -high match
Wash U in St. Louis -high match

Looking good there.
