<p>Sorry, but that ACT of a 31 is going to put the Ivys, Stanford and Duke as high reaches. If you can, I would absolutely take to try for a 33. </p>

<p>I’m kind of confused about your schooling though. Do you go to a charter school and your GPA is a 3.6 or do you go to a normal high school and your have a 3.9 and are ranked #2?</p>

<p>^ I also think that his ACT can be a bit higher but its not too bad. Its still acceptable at his schools. I think that you have a good shot in all of them. Good rank, awards, leaderships positions, service, etc.:)</p>

<p>Again, a high ACT score may help you greatly.</p>
