<p>Hi (: I'm a Korean-Canadian girl living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm planning to major in criminology (sociology) and journalism (or creative writing), and aiming at University of Southern California, Emory, Stanford (hah!), Boston C, NYU, etc.</p>

Student coach of my house league hockey team learn to play program
Student coach for hockey camp during summer
Jazz band bassist since grade 9
Concert band bassist since grade 9
Music Excellence Award in grade 9 and 10 (and hopefully 11, too!)

<p>I know, I'm more likely to be in the weaker-candidate category, but I just wanted to know if my scores were okay for at least a few of the schools I'm going to apply to.</p>

<p>u’ll prob get into at least 1 of the schools u mentioned (other than stanford). ur courseload is not exactly rigorous (come on, 5 courses only? i had 10 this year) taking korean as a subject test is kinda useless since ur korean…admissions ppl would prob not care</p>

We’re not allowed to take 10 courses - 9 is the max. we can take & we’re semestered so we have to divide it to 4 and 5… so I’m actually taking more than others who are taking 8.</p>

Thank you for your opinion :slight_smile: I’m glad to hear that USC is a high match since it’s my 2nd choice after Stanford (which… sounds impossible now :P)</p>
