Your stats look great, I don’t know much about those universities, but for the ones I do know, you look great for University of michigan, BU, and George Washington

i think you’re in good shape; Bs should be ok since you have a challenging workload. i don’t know that much about the schools on your list, but none seem to be far reaches for you. great job so far! :)

George Washington- high match
Elon- match
University of Florida- dont know, sorry
University of Michigan- probably a match
Ohio State- match
Boston University- match
University of Rochester- dont know, sorry
Fordham- match

I’m sure you’ll get into most of those schools. :)

if i apply ed to gw would that significantly increase my chances??? its my first choice i’m just slightly hesitant about totally committing with early decision if i were to get in.

That says that about 36% of ED applicants get in, so applying ED definitely helps. Also, it’s Yahoo Answers so take it with a grain of salt, but this says about a ~3.8 GPA is needed.

I think they are all matches to be honest. You have great stats and thought you would be applying to some top 10 schools before looking at your list…

No, I don’t know the average GPA at GW. I DO know you have a much better chance of getting in ED than RD. RD admissions get crazier every year- you are not a sure thing RD.

Just visited Ohio State last weekend. The average act is about a 28 and top 25% is a 30. GPA is also good. Even if you are out of state I am almost positive you would get in with a good application.

While you might be getting a handful of B’s, you’re taking a great curriculum. How much time do you put into your ECs though? For example, just being of member of NHS and SADD may not help your application. If the ECs you chose are important to you, and you can convey that in your essays, I think you can get into most of those schools (especially if you apply ED to your favorite).

I mean, your gpa and class rigor is very good. really depends on your class rank, as well, if you are applying ED to anything or not…

George Washington- high match
Elon- match
University of Florida- ?
University of Michigan- low reach
Ohio State- in
Boston University- match

You should be fine. Except that Geo. Washington is very competitve.
