<p>School: Private, the most difficult school (admission and academics) in the state (MO) in which I live. I take the highest courses offered, including 3 honors my jr. year (others are not offered).</p>

<p>GPA: 3.9
sophomore yr PSAT: 218
projected SAT: 2200+
class rank: none, but i know i'm at least 25/100
SAT II: Bio 770 Chem 750
foreign languages: spanish, near fluency</p>

<p>probable major: polisci/international relations</p>

<p>ECs:
-only jr. member of secretariat for citywide Model UN, probably Secretary General (leader) as a senior
-opinions editor of school paper, probably editor in chief as a senior
-only female editor of school humor paper, EIC if not of regular paper
-leader of community service club
-leader of Students Taking Action Now Darfur club
-handbell choir at church for 9 years, tour every summer w/ choir
-lector at church, 3 yrs
-member of school bible study club, i am an atheist who likes to learn about religions
-take debate and theatre classes at school, involved in backstage crew for all school performances
-manager for 2 sports teams/yr</p>

<p>i think you’ll get into NYU and Boston. Projected SAT isn’t always correct. mine was off by about 200</p>

<p>Id say that stats wise you’re gonna be good for most of these schools (maybe all of them, but harvard yale and princeton are never sure things). With a 218 sophomore PSAT you’ll be national merit your junior year (I went from a 196 sophomore to a 223 junior with no studying either time, just maturing) and I think you’ll go on to make higher SAT scores than you think. What i would try to focus on now is finding out what sets you apart from the other students with stats like yours. Try and find what makes you unique, and play that up. Other than that, good luck!</p>

<p>to be honest, i think it’s too early to tell. yes, you have a good shot so far at getting into all of these schools. but you need to see how junior year plays out, honestly.</p>
