I have 1 question, how do people get a full-ride to colleges like UVA? I have been hearing it from friends, but do I have to apply for it? Or does UVA offer it to me upon acceptance?

Thanks in advanced!

Once I get an idea of my chance, I'll chance others!

Wow, its great your school has a business club, and that you took action and became a leader in it, my school is new and a public one ( rolling eyes) so they offer nothing really,

I feel as though , given your direct competition ( the Asian race) ,your SAT scores should be higher

and i think the school gives you scholarships once accepted, you definitely qualify for one because of your UW: GPA

“I feel as though , given your direct competition ( the Asian race)”

Some of the advice here is pretty awful, but I think this tops it.

OP: You should ask DeanJ any specific questions and gather information from her blog. Don’t listen to your fellow high schoolers, it’s like the blind leading the blind. Good luck.

@bigshot3008: Yeah its pretty nice, not as formal as the other meetings but its nice to have a business honor society. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it doesn’t start until later in the year =/

I’m not gonna lie, I’m not too happy with my SAT score either. I was hoping to break 2000, but oh well.

I just hope my solid SAT2 scores can back that up.

ehhh 1950 vs 2010, should not really break your acceptance, and hope you did not take offense to my earlier comment like wahoomb did, i was just trying to be honest and not sugar code anyhting

No, I understand, I need honest comments to be honest. Admissions people are definitely rough with their decisions, so might as well get those type of comments :P
