What do you guys think on my chances of admissions to Duke, UNC chapel hill, UGA, GA tech, emory, UC berkeley, and UCLA? Also, which ones do you think I can apply Early Action to with a good chance of getting in?

GPA: 3.59 (UW). 3.73 (W)

Rigor: 10 AP/College level courses plus a semester of AP Econ, so 10.5 or does it round up to 11?

thanks isaiahstock for a bit of a confidence booster lol…appreciate it

Thanks for your input rafafan…anyone else??? PLEASE

Your ECs are really good, but your GPA and scores are a little low for UCLA and UCB (I’m not very familiar with the rest). I would try to raise the ACT to a 32ish, and make sure your essays are amazing, and then I think you will have a chance, but nothing is certain. Like rafafan said, UCs are random, so you never know… haha. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1367096-chance-me-ucla.html

Thanks guys I’ll chance you back shortly…any one else have an opinion??

It’s going to be difficult for many of those schools given GPA/scores. However, GA Tech looks promising, same with UNC if instate. Not gonna try to predict the UC’s but with a 31 ACT superstored it doesn’t hurt to apply. Get some safeties though they’re aren’t any on this list. Chance back at “Finding Match Schools” on What are My Chances Forum.

I agree, you should try to bring your GPA up this year and raise your test scores if possible.
I’d say you have a chance if your essay is strong, but keep other schools in mind.

Chance me back?

I think you should be good for UGA. It’s a match I believe. The rest all are reaches. There’s nothing wrong with that though. Make sure you have some safeties.

Thanks guys for all your opinions! I’m currently on vacation and on my phone right now but I will be sure to chance you back ASAP! As for SAT II’s, I will be taking them soon. I got a 1950 SAT and ended up liking the ACT better so I will retake that in a few months. Here’s something I also found out:
This is my UC GPA (from what I think atleast)
3.58 unweighted
3.92 capped
4.00 uncapped
