<p>I think you are a low match, possible reach for Emory. You take AP’s but so far have only done well on one. Remember Emory only gives credit for 4’s and 5’s and no credit at all for World History, regardless of score. Most successful applicants have at least a 3.8 unweighted GPA. Your ACT is okay but not stellar as to offset your GPA and you should make sure your SAT is not on your school’s official transcript (it is in many Florida schools) because that could hurt you. Emory ED is a possible, but not a real match IMO. Great, personalized recs will help as will a great essay. </p>

<p>I can’t stand to see a junior in HS beg! I think you are a match. Don’t forget to finish your spring semester strong, and it couldn’t hurt study up and maybe add a point (or two) to your ACT score over the summer. Best of luck to you.</p>
