So I’ve been looking at people’s profiles that have gotten into Univeristy of Maryland (college park) and now I’m flipping out. Please give me your honest opinion and what I can improve as well!

SAT: (CR 610 M 640 W 560)
ACT: (taking in April)
Extracurriculars: National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society (publicity), Art Honor Society, Agapae, Advanced Band, Interact Club, Yearbook
AP classes: AP Literacy and Comp., AP US History, AP World History(3), AP Physics 1, AP Psychology (Everything else is honors)
I am on the Varsity fencing team since my freshman year (I’ll be Captain next year)
I’ve also gone to dance school since I was 3 (14 years) (we performed in Disney world one summer as well)
I volunteer once in a while but i tutor french after school regularly starting this year. (Interact club is a club devoted to just volunteer work)
Major: Psychology
Minor: double in history and business
(I want to be a psychiatrist)
You have a long way to go and it’s best to take it once step at a time. Take the SAT again but as it stands, UMD should not be a problem for you. If you want a good shot at BC I’d bring the SAT up to 2150+. For NYU and BU try and hit 2000. Best of luck, you can do it!
