Chance me, please! | International undergrad applicant

<p>Hey, I'm an international freshman applicant. Could someone please chance me based on my SAT score and recent grades? I've applied for computer engineering to:</p>

<p>UIUC (Got deferred from priority decision)
GeorgiaTech
Purdue - West lafayette
U of Wisconsin- Madison
U of Minnesota- Twin Cities
VirginiaTech</p>

<h2>NYU-Poly</h2>

<p>SAT Superscore: 1970 - Maths 740, Writing 650, CR 580.</p>

<p>Year 12 final grades: Math A, Physics C, Chemistry C.
Year 13 mid-year grades: Math A*, Physics A, Chemistry C.</p>

<p>Well its hard to tell without an actual GPA but Your SAT is a little low for some of those schools.</p>

<p>UIUC - low reach
GTech - reach
Purdue - high match
NYU poly - reach
VTech - reach</p>

<p>My Thread (chance back please): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html&lt;/a&gt; </p>

<p>Im an international student as well, what curriculum do you follow?
GTech and Wisconsin might be a high reach, I know people with SAT scores in 2100s and high grades that couldnt make it through
I think you could keep your hopes up for Purdue, UMN and NYU Poly. I got in UMN with a much lower SAT score but for a completely different course.
I have no clue about the other universities, but good luck.
By the way, you should consider Penn State, its got a great computer engineering program and isn’t that hard to get in either.</p>

<p>Thanks for the insight! Im following the Cambridge international O & A Levels curriculum. </p>
