Chance me please! (International)

I am currently a senior and I’m just curious of what my chances are, and I didn’t apply for FA
Female Asian living in Germany - Fluent in English, German, Spanish and Korean

I’m planning to apply for biomedical engineering, but I don’t think that matters as the school admits students as a whole, not based on majors. right?

I’m currently doing the IB Program:
HL: English B / Biology / Math & SL: Geography / Korean / Chemistry

I have a quite low GPA: our school only provides cumulative weighted GPA - 6.69/7.00 (But I do show an upward trend)
Our grade consists of 129 people and the person who had the highest grade had 7.73/7.00

Recommendations: Maths and English Teacher 9/10

Georgia tech has a 33% acceptance rate and international students make up around 10% of undergraduate.

I’d guess your acceptance rate is 3%-5%. No one can really chance you well.

Good luck. Your stats look competitive.

May the odds be ever in your favor

^Anyone with basic Math skills would know that that is not how it works. I have tons of international friends with lower stats who have gotten in. I’m in the IB program too. Don’t worry

@awoodenbowl‌ Thanks! Do my scores look competitive enough?

I’m no expert but I think you have a good shot! I had the exact same Math and Chem SAT II as you wth a 40/42 in IB. A friend of mine who got in had a 38 and the same SAT as you, so I guess it’s all up to the subjective stuff now

GPA is a little low, but good essays may make up for that.

If you have essays with a score of 7+ out of 10: Match.
Else: High Match
