<p>I'm applying to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and UChicago, Cornell, UPenn, and Dartmouth. Do you think I'll be accepted? </p>

<p>ACT: 34 composite (36 English, 35 reading, 33math, 31 science, 6 writing)</p>

<p>Gpa: 4.0 UW, 4.5 W(taking every weighted class available)</p>

<p>Sat2's: so far I have a 740 in lit, and 680 in math and bio, so ill only submit to the schools that require it. </p>

<p>Essays: my essays are strong. </p>

<p>Recs: these are pretty good too. </p>

<p>Extra-curricular: varsity track 4 years, varsity cross country, founder and president 4-h club, surfrider president, best buddies, peer leader, mock trial club Vice President. </p>

<p>Work: internship with a solar energy company, and with a federal judge. Tutor. </p>

<p>More: white, female, middle class, non-legacy. </p>

<p>Career interest and major: going into environmental biology, planning to be a college professor. </p>

<p>Hooks: will be walking on the track teams. </p>

<p>Faults: sat2s, act writing</p>

<p>I think you will have a decent chance at the ivies as long as if you have a hook you’ll get into one or two. All other are reach to high reach schools.</p>

<p>I got into Harvard Early Action with an application that was only slightly better. The 6 on the essay doesn’t matter much because of the 36 on English. (I had a similar situation, my scores were 36 and 8). Cornell, Penn, and UChicago are reasonable, the others are stretches but not out of the question.</p>

<p>You are lacking in community service, that will be your main weakness. Congrats on the great ACT score though!</p>

<p>Oh I forgot community service!!
I have over 150 hours from doing mission trips to the Navajo reservation in Arizona (where we painted houses and ran a summer camp), and from creating and running a drive to collect soccer uniforms to send to impoverished children in Mozambique, Haiti, and South Korea.</p>

<p>In my opinion you have a decent chance, though I hope you apply to a few back up schools.</p>
