Chance Me, Please! IVYs+Stanford+UC

<p>Hey, just wanted some feedback and wanted to know of my chances in applying to the Ivys, Stanford (early action), and the University of California schools.</p>

<p>INFO-</p>

<p>Class Rank: 3 out of 212+
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
SAT: 2370 (800 CR, 770 M, 800 W)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 760 Bio M, 800 Chemistry, 750 US History</p>

<p>All grades from 9-12, hardest course load possible.</p>

<p>Clubs:</p>

<p>-Vice President of National Honor Society
-National Junior Honor Society (9th Grade)
-Senior High Mathletes
-Grade Council (10th Grade)
-School Newspaper
-Math, Science, Spanish, Music Honor Societies</p>

<p>Sports:
-Junior Varsity Soccer (9th and 10th grade)
-Varsity Tennis (9th to 12th grade)</p>

<p>Volunteer Work:
-~300 hours volunteering at local hospital
-Volunteer for the Pancreatic Research Network
-Volunteer for LI Cares, work in Food Drives, etc.
-Went to Tanzania for 2 weeks as part of a Pre-Med Internship at a hospital, and volunteered at a local orphanage, Summer of 2013 (AMAZING experience).</p>

<p>Research:
-Completed one year of my school's Science Research program (it was completely useless so I dropped it)
- Attended an introductory seminar for 3 weeks in Science Research at Stony Brook, Summer of 2012</p>

<p>Awards:
-School awards in Spanish, Math, Science, over the last 4 years
-235 on PSAT, so hopefully looking to become a Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist/Finalist</p>

<p>Work:
~Paid tutor for the SAT, Math, Spanish, Sciences
~Started T-Shirt company with 3 other friends in 10th grade, have an online store and sponsor school events and sports</p>

-Ethnicity: Born in India, came to the United States when I was 3
-Gender: Male
-Family Income: ~$150,000</p>

<p>Yeah, I mean there is no telling with these schools, but you are definitely in good shape for them. Try and get a couple leadership roles. Maybe captain or co captain of your varsity tennis team? Even if your team doesn’t do that, I would recommend asking the coach if its okay to put that down on your app. </p>
