Bumpbumpbump

Saw this and wanted to help out. So to summarize, you’re not gonna have any problem with just about any of these. But here are the ones I can help out with:

NYU: Good match, probably will get in
University of Florida: Definitely good match, will get in
Boston U: Good match, I think you’ll get in
Columbia: Decent match, should consider applying but the Ivies are always dicey
UNC at Chapel Hill: Good match with ACT, GPA is average there (don’t know how). Should apply
Ohio State: Definitely good match
UT-Austin: Great match
UC Berkeley: Good match, should apply but I’m not sure you’ll get accepted
UCLA: Good match, probably will get in
U of Miami: Good match, should apply. Probably between UCLA and UC Berkeley.
Georgetown: Good match, should apply, but no one can be considered “safe” for this one.

Please chance me on UT-Austin (see my post in this section) and feel free recommend other good schools I have a decent shot with. Thanks. I won’t have the credentials you do but would love to hear your opinion.

NYU (both reg and 7 year dental program): Match
Boston University: Match
Columbia University: Reach… It’s a reach for everyone; no matter how good your app is… Idk why saxguy said it was a decent match…
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: Match
University of California, Berkeley: Match, maybe low reach
Northwestern University: Low-mid Reach
Georgetown Univeristy: Low-mid reach

And if I were you, I wouldn’t even bother with the SAT… Improve on your ACT instead

@saxguy - guess we chanced each other at the same time. Thanks for the help and good luck to you!

@LesleyCordero - thanks for matching me. I figured Columbia/Northwestern/Berkeley/Georgetown would all be reaches. I’m probably going to take my ACT again in June (i got the 32 going in cold in Oct) and based on how my march SATs go, I’ll probably be submitting my ACT along with SAT IIs. Thanks a lot!

And if anyone knows anything about the VCU 8 year dental program or Villanova/UPenn program, please reply!

NYU: match
USC: match
UNC-Chapel Hill: match
Temple: safety
Ohio State: safety
Boston U: low match
UCLA: match
UC-Berkley: high match
University of Miami: match
Georgetown: high match

Pitt: low match
University of Florida: safety
Columbia: reach
UT-Austin: match

@Hockeydude664 - Thanks for chancing me on the Dental programs. I knew that the Nova/UPenn and NYU would both be very competitive but I didn’t know anything about the VCU or Temple programs

It’s good that you’re in the top 5% of your grade…how did you get a varsity letter for speech and debate? Isn’t varsity for sports?

@Foodlover001 - haha I actually really don’t know why my school gives varsity letters for speech and debate. Not complaining though :P

Bump 10char

Bump. Can anyone tell me why I would have a good chance for getting into UF (according to gk12z2 and Hockeydude664) Since i’m OOS i was under the impression it is really competitive to get in
