Chance me please! LMU transfer to UCLA.

Hi I’m currently a student at Loyola Marymount University and am looking to get into UCLA next Fall. I’m looking to get in as an African American Studies major. Since I’m not transferring from a 2 year community college, will my chances of getting in be poor? My GPA is a 3.5, and I have done extensive extracurriculars in relation to my major. By the end of this spring semester, my total semester hours will be 56, with an addition of 8 transferable AP credits from my high school, putting me at 64.
If I have some fire essays on my UC Application, are my chances reasonable? I’ve looked at all the statistics of transfer applicants for 2016, and it looks like my major has a 56% acceptance rate with 3.5 GPA being in the 75th percentile of applicants. But then again, I’m not applying from a two year ccc.
Any help would be great.
