your stats suck? ok wow.

Med schools have certain requirements, such as taking organic chemistry or biochemistry during one's undergraduate years, but do not necessarily require one to major in something related. Some schools, particularly those that are more professionally oriented, will have pre-med majors, however.

Your stats are slightly better than my friend who is going to JHU

UCSD--Match
UCI--Match
UCLA--Slight Reach
UCB--Slight Reach to Reach
NYU--Match
Cornell--Slight Reach
John Hopkins--Match to Slight Reach (closer to slight reach)

P.S. The IB definitely helps--so don't downplay it.

Berkeley/UCLA: reach
UCSD: slight reach
UCI: match
NYU: match
Cornell: reach
JHU: reach
