I applied Early Action to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and I plan on majoring in English with a concentration in Language, Writing, and Rhetoric.
I did all of the optional essays and I think I did fairly well on them.

I am also an in state student.
I also applied EA to CHASS. I hope to see you there next year. I think you’ll get in. Your scores are about average for the school. They don’t really care about ECs as much as GPA and test scores.
Since you’re in state you’ll definitely get in. I just saw that part. I’m OOS, so I’m a little nervous because NCSU is my top choice.
Son applied EA. We have not heard anything back from them yet. Application was submitted Oct 15.
@sidatom EA decisions don’t come out until January 30. What are his stats?
Today our son got a letter thanking him for applying and he would hear at the beginning of the January. Is this normal and a good sign?
So some people are hearing already? If you have heard, can tell us how you heard (portal, email, snail mail, etc.)?
