Do you know your class rank?

Its like 190/789

My school overal is huge and extremely competitive

My concern was over your GPA and the SAT scores, everything else looks good. I was hoping your class rank would compensate for that. Even with an assumption of your school being very competitive, the class rank is not a positive.

Unfortunately all of your stats are on the low end for accepted students, which would seem that your chances of getting accepted would be rather low. Being a legacy can compensate for some of the stats being low, but I just don’t have a good feel on how much being a legacy helps. Maybe someone else has better insight.

Unfortunately, your SAT score isn’t putting you in a competitive position. The mid 50 from last year’s class had scores of 1400-1530, and yours is currently 1170. Your EC’s do seem to show your have a passion in the creative arts (writing, acting, etc), so maybe that will help carry some weight. Obviously, legacy is a nice touch too, but your SAT and class rank (24%) might be too hurtful. There are always people who make up the top and bottom 25% though, so there’s always a chance. Don’t let my high school opinion frustrate you or anything, that’s just how I see it.

Below is the class profile for ND. From what I see, your academic stats (SAT and class rank) make ND a huge reach.
