ECs: varsity tennis, varsity basketball (many awards--city and county), travel soccer, yearbook editor-in-chief, asb senior class rep., community service, principal's advisory council (group of students chosen by principal to meet routinely and discuss school issues)
essays: very good

<p>Has anything really changed over the course of the last year? If you were already denied, and nothing has improved, I’d say you’re likely to get denied again. It doesn’t help that Northeastern is on the rise in terms of the number and quality of applicants, and there is no reason to suspect that this will not be the case in the next academic year. </p>
<p>As it is, you’re 3 points under the 25th percentile on your ACT score, and your GPA is .2 lower than the 25th percentile. While admission wouldn’t be impossible, it’s certainly not going to be easy. Unfortunately, when a school has so many applicants, they’re isn’t much reason for them to look at individuals with lower standardized test scores, as they’ll have applicants with comparable extra curriculars, recommendations, and essays, in addition to higher scores.</p>
