<p>You have the shot of the average applicant in my opinion. Maybe you can shine some light on a really involved EC and write bangin essays to make up for your weak (by Duke standards) rank and test scores. Definitely apply though, you have a shot!</p>
<p>Just out of curiosity, why do you need to be chanced if in another thread you posted that "Duke HATES pretentious people. I would know. I go there."?</p>

<p>Anyway, I think if you brought your Act scores up, you may have a good chance of getting in.... a lot of it depends on how well you write your essays, put a lot of work into them.....Good luck.......I am also applying to Duke.........</p>

<p>come on now this is my thread!! btw I was just kidding to km thread. He's a good buddy of mine!! Duke obviously can't hate pretentious people! I am rather pretentious. Anyway. I think I'll apply then. The 75$ application fee is kind of steep for my family but it would be really sweet to have the option of going to Duke.</p>
