<p>Hello, I just applied EA to SUNY-Binghamton and was deferred. From what I understand, many people who had more than adequate stats were deferred, and they are having trouble keeping up with the volume of applications. Hoping to see my chances at RD Bing and other schools, thank you</p>

<p>GPA: UW 3.3-3.4, from specialized highly competitive high school in New York City. Supposed to be fairly well known to NY schools. School does not rank.
Courseload of all available honors classes, 4 APs. </p>

<p>SAT: 680M 680R 640W: 1360/2000</p>

<p>SATII: 740Lit/660Math</p>

<p>ECs: 20hr/week job for two years, around 60 hours of volunteer service total. Few clubs. Pretty much my weak spot</p>

<p>Essay: Great essay, read by my AP english teacher who is extremely harsh and strict, complemented me thoroughly (I rarely see her complement people on essays).</p>

<p>Teacher Reccomendation: Read them both, both are really good. One includes my term paper research and how the teacher incorporated the material into all her classes. 2nd more generic, but still very good.
Counselor Rec: not sure</p>

<p>Go to SYRACUSE U!! with me..lol. just playing..go where u want..but your stats are more than qualified for Syracuse U and BU i know for sure.</p>

<p>I live in NY- just curious, what school do you go to?</p>

<p>And I think you should be fine for those, but BU and U Rochester might be tough admissions.</p>

<p>I'm thinkint Rochester would be somewhat harder than the rest but by no means impossible. Probably 40-50% chance there</p>
