<p>Extracurricular: Key Club, Spanish Club, 12th Man, People to People Ambassador, AIG program, County Youth Orchestra, All County Orchestra, Youth Group, Stars travel basketball, Church league basketball, Tennis Player of the year and MVP 3 years straight, Top 16 in the state in tennis, Worked at Kumon tutoring, Assistant tennis pro at Racket Club during the summer, made all-region team for tennis, tennis captain, 80 volunteer hours</p>

<p>High school ranked in top 20 in the state</p>

<p>About 25-30 kids from my high school get into UNC Chapel Hill each year</p>

<p>My friends who have gotten in said I can get into NCSU, Elon, Wake Forest, and most likely Chapel Hill because they love our high school and most colleges take a holistic view. The ones that really worry me are Wake Forest and Davidson.</p>

<p>Please give me something I can do to improve my chances other than tests scores which I know I will improve.</p>

<p>Sorry,but you’re not looking to good for UNC, Wake, or Davidson. Good for NC State, Elon, and the rest.</p>

<p>If you can get a 28 however, you will stand a chance being the fact that it’s holistic and you are in NC.</p>

<p>You’re definitely good for elon and state, Davidson is a long shot but UNC and Wake are both doable since you’re instate, just try to get up to a 26 or 28!</p>

<p>Wake is test optional, so you could always go down that route. </p>

<p>NC State was difficult to get into this year, so with a 24 ACT you might get deferred a round or two to the last applicant pool. I know people who got deferred until the last possible second with a 26 ACT and a 3.75 UW GPA before they got in.</p>

<p>I am not sending my test scores to Wake Forest. But my question is I respect people who say I can’t get in to Wake, but why not if I don’t send my scores?</p>
