<p>Someone please do a reality check for me - looking at ED at Northwestern in Medill Journalism.</p>

<p>GPA 4.02 weighted
SAT: 2260 super score
SAT2s in October - planning on Math2 and English
Eng Lang & Comp AP - 5 </p>

<p>Sr schedule:
AP French
AP Eng Lit
AP Calc
Physics
US Hist 2 - Advanced
Advanced Creative Writing Honors</p>

<p>EC:
Soccer - 4 years
Track - 4 years indoor and 4 years spring (all varsity, captain this year)
lots of community service clubs: Key Club and others (officer this year)
community service trip this past summer
also did journalism program this past summer, as well as two years ago at local paper
school paper (dept editor this year)</p>

<p>let me know if you need more info - please be honest. I know it's tough, but do I have a chance?</p>

<p>Honestly, you’re a match for Northwestern. They lack athleticism, which you display prominently. Your GPA is great, the only bad thing I have is your lack of AP’s.</p>

<p>You got the scores and the athleticism. The only thing I’d reccomend for you is to get some cool and unique extra curricular activities. I’m applying to Northwestern as well! The problem with me is I got the activities, just not the SAT scores haha. Hopefully I get that fixed October & November. Good luck!</p>
