I think my ECs are okay, but academics is where I'm struggling. Any input is appreciated Thanks so much, and best of luck to all of you!

I would say you are a reach unless it is documented that you are Native American. Are you registered with a tribe? If you can prove it, send along your registration and your chances will be hugely greater.

On a 4.0 unweighted scale, a 3.9 GPA = 97.5%. Last year, my son was admitted to Yale with an unweighted 96.8. Much depends on your teacher recommendations, guidance counselor’s Secondary School Report and essays. Best of luck.

Since you mentioned that you’re Native American, I think it depends on how well you can complete you supplement/application. Rushing isn’t such a great idea, especially if you’re applying to Yale “just because”. I’d make sure I know the reason(s) I’m applying and how I really feel about Yale. Do you think/feel you have enough quality time to think about it?

You definitely have a decent chance. Test scores (and maybe GPA depending on school) are weak, but everything else seems fine.
