Chance me please? Out-of-state freshman for 2012 Autumn.

3.52 UW, 3.81 Weighted GPA
2050 SAT [660 Writing, 730 Math, 660 Critical Reading]
Extracurriculars:
2 years marching band
3 years Science Alliance
2 years Key Club (VP this year)
Summer volunteer at a lab for one summer
2 years short flags

I've taken AP Euro, AP Lang, APUSH, AP Bio, and am currently taking AP Comp Gov, AP Lit, and AP Human Geography. I've also taken Honors Chem and Honors Anatomy/Physiology.

I'm just worried because it was my junior year GPA that brought it down..I had a 4.0 weighted before that :/ Does anyone know the average unweighted GPA and SAT scores of admitted applicants?

Rumour has it that out of state students have better chances at UW because of the higher tuition, but I haven’t seen any statistics to back that up. GPA is low, what are your SAT scores?

Oh you’re right. My bad. Yeah. That looks like a strong application.

I checked the UW stats and your SAT is safety (sorry for the bad grammar). Your GPA, however, is .09 points below a match for you. Sorry to be harsh, but use your extracurriculars to your advantage. I talk like I know all this, and i’m still only a HS junior lol. Good luck!
