• Interviews: Milton interview I think was my best Really connected with the AO. I talked with my Exeter interviewer for around an hour, I think she really liked me. Andover I think was very mediocre, but the AO and I connected really well. Haven’t had one for SPS yet. I also think the Webb AO really liked me, we joked around a lot.

Webb has a reputation for not being that generous with financial aid. Did you consider other CA boarding schools like Cate, Thacher, and others?

I think I was a pretty similar applicant (one sport, one instrument, strong recs, etc.) except I was partial pay, did more clubs, applied going into 9th grade, from the Northeast, had only 3 recs, and had 99% scores, but had terrible essays. I was rejected from Andover and waitlisted from Milton. However, I believe that if your essays are good you are competitive.

I went to visit the Webb School and I just loved the campus and everything. I didn’t really like the other boarding schools in CA, I just kinda felt attracted to Webb I guess. Sounds weird haha

Webb is much easier to get into than the other CA boarding schools, so your chances for admission there are very good. But they might not be able to be as generous when it comes to financial aid.
