We all know it's about that time where everyone starts getting anxious about hearing back from the schools they already applied to and about finishing up applications for all the others. I'd sincerely appreciate it if someone would be willing to give me their opinions about my shot at getting into Boston College!

I attend a very competitive public school in NJ (I believe ranked 2nd or 3rd in the state) and am looking to go into business (marketing, specifically).

My weighted GPA over the 9th-11th grades is a little over a 3.7 (and is on a 4.0 scale with a .5 weight for honors and AP classes).
My weighted GPA each year is as follows:

9th: 3.8/3.9
10th: 3.6/3.2 (by far my worst year--both my parents were unemployed and my mother became clinically depressed for a while and blah blah blah, I included some kind of explanation on my CA)
11th: 3.9/3.9
12th: For the first marking period I got a 4.0

My honors/AP classes over the years:
9th: Geometry honors, Spanish 2 honors (as well as enriched english--an advanced class but unweighted)
10th: Algebra 2 honors, Spanish 3 honors (as well as enriched history; same deal)
11th: Precalc honors, Spanish 4 honors, Chemistry honors, Advanced sight-reading honors
12th: AP Calc ab, AP Lit/Comp, AP bio, Spanish 5 honors (and I am also taking physics, which is my fifth science overall.)

SAT scores:
SAT I(no superscore) - total: 2170
Math: 700
CR: 720
Writing: 750

SAT II: Math 2c: 750
Lit: 650 (uch, I know...)

I'm a National Merit Hispanic Scholar (5,000 Hispanics are awarded this every year nationwide, based on PSAT scores and GPA/other academic information). I'm also (less importantly) a National Merit Commended Student (one of 50,000 nationwide).

I've done a fair amount of community service with/within my church, sing in my church's youth band, and have worked over the past two summers.

I've been a varsity swimmer all 4 years and swam on a club team as well in my 9th-11th grades. I'm a captain of the girls' high school team this year. Having said that, I am only mildly involved with other school clubs.

Thanks so much guys! If you want my opinion on your standings, let me know. :)
